Turning a subtopic into its own map

A single map goes three rings deep. To go further, click any subtopic in any view and confirm Research topic. TopicLoops generates a fresh map with that subtopic at the centre, carrying the path it came from as context — so the result stays anchored to the original subject instead of drifting.

The confirmation dialog shows that Topic path before you commit. If you would rather skip it, tick Don't ask again.

Finding your way back

A map opened this way shows a breadcrumb of its ancestors above the title. Each level is clickable, so you can walk back up to any earlier map without regenerating it.

Why go deeper

The first map of a broad keyword necessarily stays fairly general. Drilling into a branch is how you reach the specific, long-tail subtopics that individual articles are actually written about. Repeat it and you can work down from a whole subject to a single page brief.

What it costs

Researching a subtopic generates a new map, so it counts as a search against your allowance, exactly like typing a keyword on the home page. Each one is saved to your History in its own right. Walking back up the breadcrumb to a map you already generated is free.
