Your first map

1. Run a search

From the home page, enter a keyword — a topic you know well — and choose the language it should be generated in. TopicLoops expands the keyword into three rings of subtopics. The rings arrive one after another, so the map fills in while you are already looking at it.

2. Read the map

You land on the Sunburst: your keyword in the centre hub, its sections fanning out around it, one ring per level of depth. Scroll while hovering the centre hub to rotate the whole wheel and bring a branch round to where you can read it comfortably.

Under the title, a summary line tells you how many subtopics the map contains and prompts you to analyze a URL when you are ready.

3. Switch views

The same map is available in four shapes, from the tabs above it: Sunburst, Tree, Outline and Graph. They render identical data — pick whichever answers your current question.

4. Put it to work

• Paste one of your URLs to mark what it already covers, and read the rest as your roadmap — Find content gaps.
• Click any subtopic to open it as its own map — Research deeper.
• Take it out as an image or a spreadsheet — Export your map.

5. Come back to it

Searches you run while signed in are saved to your History automatically, so you can reopen a map later instead of regenerating it. Every map also has its own link you can bookmark or send to a colleague.
